HIGHLIGHTS: Top of the line oils include a variety of extra virgin oils including one estate grown Picholine, an unfiltered California oil, and an organic California oil. Other oils include California oils infused with herbs and citrus.

BEST FOR: Sampling the full gamut at the winery tasting room including wine, olive oil and vinegar. Pick your favorites to bring home as gifts.

AT A GLANCE: Figone is a family-run operation producing just olive oils and balsamic vinegars for over 25 years. Tasting room is conveniently located on the Plaza.

HIGHLIGHTS: Figone olive oils are milled, blended and bottled from olives sourced throughout California. Specialties are infused oils such as Persian Lime or Blood Orange as well as aged Balsamic vinegars.

BEST FOR: Tasting room experience at Figone is dedicated to oils and vinegars (no wine tasting here!). They sell both bulk and bottled oil. And if you are lucky you might catch a live demonstration of how fresh mozzarella is made.

HIGHLIGHTS: Largest variety of olive oils in the valley. Multiple top-of-the-line extra virgin oils including estate oils from several properties, single varietal oils, classic blends, citrus crushed oils, infused oils, and bulk oil.

BEST FOR: Comparative tasting of various types of oils. Tasting room is within Jacuzzi Family Vineyards tasting room and can be crowded so go early in the day.

AT A GLANCE: Family-owned cheese business housed in an ultra charming historic stone building one block from the town square.

HIGHLIGHTS: The Vella family has been making a large variety of award-winning cheese in Sonoma since 1931. Consistently high quality. You can't go wrong here.

BEST FOR: Free samples of both soft and hard cheeses made on site. You simply can't go home empty-handed. Take home a whole wheel of Dry Monterey Jack!
