HIGHLIGHTS: Airport does not charge a landing fee. Overnight stays for up to 7 days. Tie down is free. Open to pilots dawn to dusk only; no night operations.

BEST FOR: Flying in for a short stay. Don't miss the display days (second weekend each month) when vintage and veteran planes are on display.

AT A GLANCE: Miniature scale railroad located on 10 acres with over a mile of track.

HIGHLIGHTS: Climb aboard a 1930s miniature steam train and wind your way through tunnels and redwoods and stop at a miniature (and adorable) western town and petting zoo. Merry-go-round and a handful of small amusement park rides also available.

BEST FOR: Toddlers in love with trains! Eat before you go and arrive early in the day to avoid the crowds. Schedule is seasonal, so check before going.

HIGHLIGHTS: Soar in an open air cockpit of a WWII 1942 bi-plane. If you're brave enough, opt for a stunt ride with loops, barrel rolls and hammer head dives.  

BEST FOR: 20 minute scenic flight for a bird's eye view of the valley.
