Sonoma Valley lodging fills up quickly for many weekends and holidays. One minute there may appear to be plenty of availability and the next minute a special event takes every available unit. Best deals can be found in Jan. and Feb.
This is a good first question to ask yourself when deciding where to stay overnight in Sonoma Valley.
The “Town” option generally means somewhere near Sonoma’s historic Town Plaza, where you can walk to restaurants, winery tasting rooms, historic sites, and local walking paths.
The “Country” option means you’ll enjoy country views and privacy but will have to drive for almost anything else.
Most lodging establishments in Sonoma Valley have a two night minimum stay requirement for weekends. B&B’s and Vacation Rentals typically have a minimum stay requirement of two or more nights throughout the week. It never hurts to ask for an exception.
