The Visitor’s Bureau has two locations and bundles of helpful information. The main location is on the Plaza in a classic building that used to be the public library.
To order a Free Sonoma Valley Visitors Bureau Guide, call the Sonoma Valley Visitors Bureau at 866-996-1090.The second location is located on the Highway coming into town, at Cornerstone Gardens, and has staff and volunteers on hand to help with information needs.
Sonoma Valley’s main newspaper (since 1879) is The Sonoma Index Tribune published weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays. The Friday issue includes a real estate section and highlights upcoming weekend happenings. Newspapers can be found at vending machines in town and at locations around the valley. The Index Tribune also publishes a Sonoma Valley Guide and the yearly Sonoma Valley Almanac filled with information about the area. You can pick one up a free Guide or purchase the Almanac at the newspaper’s office right off the west side of the Plaza at 117 West Napa Street.
The Sonoma Sun is a weekly newspaper published on Thursdays in both English and Spanish. Visit the Sonoma Sun’s web site at www.sonomasun.com.

To reach the hospital, from the Sonoma Plaza, go south on Broadway (the wide avenue facing City Hall in the center of the Plaza Park). Take your second right onto Andrieux Street. Sonoma Valley Hospital is four blocks down on the left. Emergency room entrance faces Andrieux Street.
The Sonoma Valley Chamber of Commerce has a membership of over 700 businesses and is ready to assist with information related to local business resources and advocacy. They are located at 651A Broadway and can be reached at 707-996-1033.
