Many Sonoma Valley wineries host weddings (for a fee). Typically, they have preferred or exclusive caterers. Other wedding venues range from Sonoma’s Mission Chapel to lavish private estates and retreat centers. Be mindful that the southern valley can be very windy in the late afternoon. Ask about wind conditions for the season and hour of your event.

BEST FOR: Non-denominational wedding ceremony in the beautiful chapel that can seat 125 guests.

HIGHLIGHTS: Both an inn and a cooking school, Ramekins is well equipped to provide top notch service and excellent dining options.
BEST FOR: Both intimate weddings as well as for groups up to 200. Six guest rooms upstairs can accommodate members of the wedding party.

HIGHLIGHTS: No frills, rustic ranch that oozes an old-timey California feel complete with hay bales for seating; cozy cabins; a redwood hot tub; and on-site massages. It almost feels like a summer camp!
BEST FOR: Casual weddings (120 max) where you take over the whole joint. In-house caterer; no amplified music; beer and wine only. Party til 11 p.m.
