If you are coming north on Highway 101, be sure to take the Highway 37 exit even though it doesn't say Sonoma and then make a left turn at Infineon Raceway onto Highway 121. Tip: You will need to be in the left lane to make this turn.

Once you make the turn onto Highway 121 with Infineon Raceway on your left you are entering Sonoma Valley and there are a few spots along the way where it is possible to get confused due to a lack of clear road signs.

After driving for a few miles you will come to a bend in the road with a stop sign ahead and the Vineyards Inn on your right. To get to the center of Sonoma follow the bend with the arrows to your right.

If you go straight to the stop sign a few feet ahead by mistake, just make a right turn at the light and follow Fremont Drive (Highway 121) till a sign (see below for photo of the sign) directs you to make a left hand turn onto Highway 12 which takes you into the center of the City of Sonoma. If you do not make this left turn you will be heading toward Napa.

Heading to Glen Ellen or an address on Arnold Drive? Then stay straight at the stop sign at the bend in the road above and head north on Arnold Drive.
